About the Role:

As the Operations Manager of our SEO Website Copy Team at Olly Olly, you’ll lead a high-performing team responsible for creating compelling, results-driven copy that elevates our clients’ visibility and conversion rates. Your focus will be on implementing strategies and processes optimized for a high-yield production environment, as you oversee a team producing over hundreds of SEO websites monthly. This role requires technical SEO expertise combined with the ability to streamline operations and manage large-scale copy production efficiently. You’ll work closely with our SEO department to align on best practices, ensuring that content consistently drives engagement, generates leads, and provides real value to our clients. This position calls for a hands-on people manager who thrives in a fast-paced setting and can maintain high standards at scale.

About Olly Olly:

At Olly Olly, our core product has always been—and will continue to be—building SEO-optimized websites that empower small businesses to rank locally and generate leads. While we've recently launched a SaaS platform to enhance our offerings, our clients primarily seek SEO websites they’re proud of—websites that set them up for real success in their communities. We focus on helping the "little guys" succeed, and when they’re ready, we support them in growing into the “medium little guys.” Our tight-knit team includes digital marketing strategists, creative minds, developers, and account managers, all driven to make an impact for the small businesses that make up the backbone of our economy.

You’re excited about this opportunity because you will:

  • Lead the copy team, guiding them to produce SEO-rich, engaging copy that drives calls, requests, and customer conversions for small businesses.
  • Ensure that all content meets high standards of readability, relevance, and SEO optimization, aligning closely with the SEO team for effective on-page strategies.
  • Drive projects from ideation through to final implementation, maintaining high quality and cohesion across all website copy.
  • Utilize your knowledge of SEO and conversion techniques to develop processes and standards for creating impactful content that generates leads and delivers ROI for clients.
  • Coach and support team members in developing their SEO knowledge and writing skills to consistently achieve outstanding results for clients.

  • A background in SEO strategy and tactics, with an understanding of how to implement on-page SEO techniques and optimize for both search engines and human engagement.
  • Demonstrated success in managing and mentoring teams to create engaging, conversion-oriented content that performs well in local search markets.
  • Excellent communication and project management skills, able to coordinate across departments and manage multiple projects without compromising quality.
  • A data-driven approach, with curiosity and analytical insight to measure, refine, and improve content based on performance metrics.
