We’re a small-ish, but mighty team of digital marketing strategists, creative visionaries, graphic designers, developers, copywriters and account managers who solve problems — and we do it creatively. About the Team

Forming a tight-knit, proactive and highly-engaged team, the Web Support Web Development Team is driven by the excellency of our code. Our philosophy is to always provide the highest quality solutions to every assignment: it’s far better to fix an issue today, than to take a shortcut and deal with the fallout in the future. About the Role

Are you looking for your first job experience with an international company? Jumpstart your career!

Our Junior Web Support Specialist will execute a wide range of administrative tasks, including publishing, maintaining, and troubleshooting WordPress websites. You will implement security protocols, create backups, sort out domains, servers, hosting-related issues, and much more. All in-house processes required to fulfill the job responsibilities will be taught during the onboarding period

As a Junior Web Support Specialist you will gain the technical skills to manage our clients’ websites, publishing, performance and security. You will be comfortable updating and troubleshooting WordPress and WPEngine software, managing hostings, and applying cybersecurity and performance updates.

You're excited about this opportunity because you will…

  • Launch new client websites & balance the new sites among the available servers
  • Configure website reporting
  • Configure third-party tools and services such as IDX and Search Console
  • Handle takedown process for removed client sites
  • Manage Bluescreen for suspended sites
  • Monitor active sites to guarantee their uptime
  • Handle communications between WPEngine and the company regarding active issues, programmed maintenance, and collaborate with the Product Development team regarding any operation impact changes and their deadlines (such as the update from PHP v7.4 to v8.0)
  • Other duties and projects as assigned

We're excited about you because you bring…

  • Experience as a Website Administrator
  • Experience publishing WordPress sites and working with WPEngine
  • Familiarity using web performance and working knowledge of debugging tools
  • Professional English skills (you will communicate with Management and other teams)
  • Skill and ability to break down complex projects into manageable components
  • A Bachelor’s in Computer Science, Systems Engineer or equivalent IT Certifications (although not a strict requirement)

This means you may not have a team of coworkers to collaborate with or a manager to check in with regularly. As an administrator, it’s important to be able to work independently and be self-motivated.

What We Offer

  • Start Date: May 13th
  • Salary: $500 USD/ month
  • 2-3 Month Contract-to-Hire
  • Schedule: 8:00am - 5:00pm, Monday-Friday CST (No weekends)
